Jenny Conlee is a current member of The Decemberists and other bands including The Minus 5, Casey Neill and the Norway Rats, Ashleigh Flynn and the Riveters, and the Little Sue Band.  The JCQ is a project featuring Conlee’s instrumental songwriting and love of French accordion music. With instrumentation of accordion and piano, clarinet (Jill Coykendall), upright bass (Jesse Emerson), and drums (Steve Drizos), expect to hear musical influences from all over the world. In 2016 Jenny and Steve Drizos put out a record of some of this instrumental music called “French Kayaking Music”.
