Re-established in 2013, the Alberta Street Pub is a complete remodel of the old neighborhood Public House. The kitchen serves up an inspired and locally sourced menu to compliment our craft cocktails and the 21 rotating draft beers. The Pub continues its tradition of friendly service with skilled bartenders, table service, a live music venue, and enormous heated patio. The venue side has been updated as well with a focus on acoustics and comfort. We offer one of the best listening environments in Portland with an intimate setting and a high quality sound system. Whether it’s bluegrass, jazz, folk, country, soul, or funk you’ll find something to love nearly every night of the week. Jenny Don't and The Spurs • Miss Lonely Hearts • Joshua McCaslin • $8, $7 w/Cowboy Boots!

Featuring Jenny Don't (Don't, Ladies Of The Night), Kelly Halliburton (Dead Moon, P.R.O.B.L.E.M.S., Pierced Arrows), JT Halmfilst (Thee Headliners, Audios Amigos) and Sam Henry (Wipers, Rats, Napalm Beach, Don't), Jenny Don't and the Spurs bring a variety of musical styles and a formidable wealth of experience to the stage. While the sound of the Spurs is original and draws from deep wells of personal experience, the band pays stylistic homage to the greats of the genre – Patsy Cline, Ernest Tubb, Hank Williams Sr., Loretta Lynne, and all the rest of the real players from the 1940s and 50s… an era where the lines between Rock’n’Roll and Country were blurred, where the likes of Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, and Carl Perkins could tour together and nobody would bat an eye.

It’s a misnomer to say that the boys in Miss Lonely Hearts have a finger on the pulse of the Nor Cal country music scene, rather, they’ve been its lifeblood since the release of their sophomore effort, “Crying Bottle Blues” in 2012.  With their hard driving honky tonk sound, MLH has packed bar rooms and dance halls all up and down the West Coast, and opened for nationally touring acts like The Devil Makes Three, Eileen Jewel, and Brothers Comatose.
