Bustin’ Jieber is the grass fed, free range, bouncing musical baby of saxophonist Andy Page, drummer Susan Lucia and bassist Dusty Carlson. Since the winter of 2012, the group has been working long and hard to sculpt the perfect power trio. Taking grand inspiration from the likes of Frank Zappa, Mr. Bungle, Primus, and Morphine the sound that Bustin’ Jieber creates is both familiar and completely unrecognizable.
Bustin’ has collaborated with musicians ranging from emcees to string quartets, played everything from dive bars to large scale music festivals, and hasn’t failed to get the toes tappin’ yet. Bustin’ Jieber is an ambitious young group with an appetite for destruction and a fervent desire to shake up your mind, booty, and soul.
Birthed from the countryside of Oregon, Mount Joy has been together since the start. A four-piece of girls originally out of Canby, whose music consists mainly of full, soulful vocals wrapped around each other in spirals of tight, dynamic harmonies. Influenced by everything from choir arrangements to Drake, their magnetic sound has been shakin' up the Eugene and Portland music scene ever since they got here in 2012 . Their funky beats and hypnotic harmonies are sure to draw you in and keep your toes tapping 'till the cows come home.
