Alberta Street Pub

Open 4pm to 1amish Every Day

Re-established in 2013, the Alberta Street Pub is a complete remodel of the old neighborhood Public House. The kitchen serves up an inspired and locally sourced menu to compliment our craft cocktails and the 21 rotating draft beers. The Pub continues its tradition of friendly service with skilled bartenders, table service, a live music venue, and enormous heated patio. The venue side has been updated as well with a focus on acoustics and comfort. We offer one of the best listening environments in Portland with an intimate setting and a high quality sound system. Whether it’s bluegrass, jazz, folk, country, soul, or funk you’ll find something to love nearly every night of the week. Ask about our service industry discounts or discover our happy hour food and drink specials Monday through Friday from 4 to 6pm.

Honey Divers • Amanda Cogan • Stephanie Scelza • $5

Honey Divers are the project of Portland-based singer-songwriter Tim Karplus. The acoustic group, made up of Karplus, bassist Julio Appling, drummer/percussionist Mark Powers and vocalist Madison Berry-Sellers, formed earlier this year. Though they’ve only been in existence for a short time, Honey Divers have already become known around town for their distinctive harmonies, catchy, innovative songwriting, and overall sunny disposition. The band are releasing their self-titled debut EP this fall, which will be available at the show!

Stephanie Scelza:  Stephanie narrowly escaped a life of professional opera-singing when she found a guitar, quit her studies, and eloped with a band. Stephanie is hard-pressed to describe her music as a blend of funk, blues, and folk. You can find her padding around the Portland music scene with no particular directive beyond survival, and the desire to find a quiet place for a good, long howl.
