The music of the experimental ensemble The Wishermen teems with melodic ositnatos and harmonic rhythms. Their genre bending compositions travel from quirky pop tunes to noise-scapes, while blurring the line between the improvised and the composed. The core members of the band (Barra Brown-drums, Grant Sayler-guitar, and Chris Friesen-bass) began playing together in 2010 and often invite other musicians to orbit their concept driven sounds.
