Alberta Street Pub

Open 11am -midnight Sunday through Thursday and 11 am-2 am Friday & Saturday

Re-established in 2013, the Alberta Street Pub is a complete remodel of the old neighborhood Public House. The kitchen serves up an inspired and locally sourced menu to complement our craft cocktails and the 21 rotating draft beers. The Pub continues its tradition of friendly service with skilled bartenders, table service, a live music venue, and enormous heated patio. The venue side has been updated as well with a focus on acoustics and comfort. We offer one of the best listening environments in Portland with an intimate setting and a high quality sound system. Whether it’s bluegrass, jazz, folk, country, soul, or funk you’ll find something to love nearly every night of the week. SIN Mondays! Bring in your OLCC/Food Handler's Cards for happy hour prices from open to close every Monday!

Astro Tan • The Tamed West • Tribe Mars • $5

Astro Tan appears attune to their own creative ambitions; ostensibly due to a mélange of classic and contemporary influences.  Soma, their freshman effort, demonstrates an affinity for lush R&B, soft-jazz and psychedelia.  It holds an aesthetic that Tone Deaf describes as, “spilling with dreamy-psych-twang textures” and Obscure Sound calls, “more stylistically ambitious than they initially let on…”

The self-produced and recorded group anticipates releasing an extensive catalog of music brushing on psychedelia, R&B, and rock through Spring of 2015.

The Tamed West is a Trio founded in late 2013, based in Portland, Oregon. They enjoy holding hands, long walks on the beach, ice cream cones and picnics.

Tribe Mars are a soul/jazz/funk/hiphop act based in Portland. Keyboards, vocals, trumpet, guitar, bass and drums create this bands fresh yet slightly nostalgic sound that’s largely born out of improvisation. Drummer Robert and guitarist Brett of Northern California met keyboard player Andre Burgos of Philly while he was playing piano at local bar Roadside Attractions. A month later singer/trumpet player Shawn Dungee of N. Arizona came in and added a focal point. After a few months of jamming, Robert and Brett’s pal and former bandmate Brian moved up from L.A. and hopped on the bass guitar, completing and fleshing out the bands sound. The culmination of diverse musical backgrounds has resulted in a unique, raw, old school meets new school, West coast meets East coast vibe that’ll be sure to have you groovin’ and leave you toe tappin’ until their next show.
