Annalisa Tornfelt grew up in Anchorage, Alaska and drove down to Portland, OR just after she turned eighteen. As the oldest of five, some of her fondest memories were playing music with her siblings, falling asleep to Mom and Dad's string quartet rehearsals and playing violin with her family in Handel's Messiah. After attending the Anchorage Folk Music Camp when she was twelve,  Annalisa discovered the joy of songwriting. To this date, Annalisa has made solo albums, toured with a bluegrass band for ten years, hosted many fiddle camps for kids, teaches private violin lessons and also plays in the Portland based band, Black Prairie. She is releasing her new solo album March 10th, 2015. "Annalisa's songwriting is clear and to the point and her singing in tip top."- Jenny Conlee- Drizos
